Instructional-computing pilot

Supporting proposal, not the working group’s selected strategy. ACCESS is the intended CPU + GPU route. Campus AWS is for component testing; bounded free GPUs support preliminary benchmarks. The pilot has $0 cash and Greg’s four total hours/week; TA and course-lead effort is separate. Allocations, funding and classroom readiness remain unconfirmed.

Material Use
DS/MLIS pilot · Pilot stages Course concepts and staged decisions
Route assessment · ACCESS request Service fit and an unsubmitted request draft
Benchmarks · Download runnable tests CPU components and GPU notebooks
Optional compute estimator Planning quantities, peak demand and storage
Hours and grant dependencies · Classroom checks Support envelope and 13 planned readiness checks
